Local amenities

Gairloch is an unusually well appointed village for the West Coast, which is one of the reasons we love living here.

Considering how far out we are, the list of facilities for both locals living here and those passing through is remarkable.  So you get the best of both worlds, remote outdoor activities with stuning views, and wonderful food and drink.

Please note that the following list is by no means exhaustive and only includes those establishments within easy walking distance.  There are many other great places to eat, drink, shop and be merry within easy driving distance.  If we've missed any, please let us know!

Eating out:

Spiral (1 minutes walk)
The Milcroft Hotel (1 minute walk)
Mountain Coffee Shop (1 minute walk)
The Myrtle Bank Hotel (15 minutes walk)
The Shieling (15 minutes walk)
